I visited the Carolinas Medical Center last week with my son. I am a visitor to the state and was extremely impressed with this hospital. All of the staff welcomed us with open arms. They were all so very nice and polite. The cleanliness at this hospital was extremely impressive. The employees and caregivers at this facility genuinely care for your well-being. After the visit a few days later they even called to check up on my son! Best hospital visit my family and I ever experienced. I hope the staff gets recognized for being the best!
I had surgery at Mercy this week. I was a little worried about going there because of some of the reviews. I had the best experience from checking in, all the nursing staff, dr and anesthesiologists nurses. They couldn’t have gone out of their way more to make me as comfortable as possible.
My mom went in for back surgery. The staff and doctors were kind and kept me well informed.
People here are very kind and friendly and quick to stop and help you even though they're very busy at the time.
My mother was admitted and needed to stay for a week. I was really impressed the compassion of the nursing staff, physical therapy, the doctors ... even all the support staff like nutrition. Like everything in life, there are probably other hospitals with staff who are a little more or less knowledgeable medically. But in my Mom's case, it was the encouragement, patience, support, and understanding that made the difference. And not just one or two people but a team of them.
Great Customer care! Thank you! In and out in less than an hour, parking was a breeze.
Excellent doctors from Orthocarolina for my 5th knee replacement and my 4th on my right knee. I had a knee replacement go bad in Cali WLA, staph infection, Cedars Sinai fixed it in 2006 now CMC Mercy fixed it better with a fine new knee. I hurt but that is expected. So far so good. I'm sick to my stomach from the general, but needed it. In the hospital 4 days, and I'm 70 years old. Thank you nurses, Dr. F and business workers at the hospital.
CMC, Main, the Administrative, Check in..was very nice, nurses and nurses in training excellent, Docs depends if they care Nurses deserves 5.
Was taken by EMS to CMC-Main for shortness of breath/bad headache, and while in the ED, suffered a heart attack. Was stabilized and sent to CMC-Mercy, as there were no beds available at CMC-Main. While at CMC-Mercy, had a heart cath done to examine and see where the blockages were. The staff that took care of me before, during, and after the heart cath are to be commended. Kind, caring, and kept me informed as to what was currently being done, and what I could expect next. Maybe some folk have had bad experiences here, but considering that I was in a hospital for Heaven's sake, I couldn't have asked for better treatment from everyone I came in contact with at CMC-Mercy.

The nursing staff on the floor I was on was nice and caring. That's all I ever saw since I was transferred in.
Had surgery and was well taken care of by the staff and surgeon. I did have bite marks all over my legs upon release from the 5th floor of the hospital. I believe it to be best bugs as I had no issues from my home to the hospital. I mean flaming red marks on the bottom of my legs where the sheets were the entire over. Night stay, very concerning. I did alert them so that they can look into the issues. Other than that I received top notch care from the staff
The best staff friendly always let you know gone on with the patient never leave you guessing only thing wrong the food is not good in the cafeteria
Awesome!!!!..go in this place with a cough u want leave until those lungs r fixed.. They care about the patients.. More than I can say 4 PMC in rock hill!!!!
